How familiar are you with the Bible account of Peter walking on water?

If you are like me and grew up in Sunday School and church it is likely you have heard it many times.

The disciples are out on the lake in the middle of a storm and they see a ghostly figure walking toward them on the water. It sounds like they might have been more afraid of what they thought was a ghost than of the storm. Then they hear His voice ‘It is I’ and Peter says ‘tell me to come to you’. And so Peter steps out onto the water but at some point before he reaches Jesus he realizes there is a storm all around him. He has taken his eyes off the Savior and begins to sink. (Matthew 14:22-36)
