Dear Internet Defense League member,
Two years ago Internet users rose up and won the fight against SOPA and PIPA. One year ago, internet activist Aaron Swartz, who was a leader in these protests, tragically took his own life. In celebration of our huge win against SOPA and in memory of Aaron, we are helping coordinate a mass day of protest against mass surveillance to take place on February 11th.
It’s called The Day We Fight Back. This Tuesday, more than 4,000 websites will host banners urging people to call/email Congress to oppose mass government surveillance.
