Meal Planning Basics

This post differs in many ways from most of my other posts, as it is more practically geared toward homemakers, but like all of my writing it has a strong focus on the Lord who is our strength in all things. Recently I have had a number of people ask about how I go about meal planning, as I usually make a meal plan for a month at a time. This seems to be an area many women struggle with (myself included).

To start I have picked three biblical principles which I apply to this area of my household

1. Viewing this as our God-given responsibility to care for the needs of our household.

 Proverbs 31: 17 & 27 She sets about her work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.
She watches over the affairs of her household 
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
